Hi All.
Working in private sector and planning to open a BOB savings account with strong Debit card.
Please suggest between super savings account and BOB professional savings account

Hi
Will autosweep be turned on by default in Super savings account in Bob?
any idea how to turn it off?

. I maybe wrong, so try contacting the branch or customer care team
A simple solution to this problem:

  1. Go to Branch and ask for Customer request Form.
  2. In the others part on 2nd page mention you want sweep out at 10lakh (Max limit)
  3. For surety, mention this to the operation manager of ur branch that u want sweep out to be triggered at 10lakh not below.
  4. Done

Personally, after above, kept even in some lakhs but sweep never gets triggered.

I have a SUPER SAVING ACCOUNT (20K MAB), the default is 10K for auto sweep. Whenever the amount exceeds 10K, every Monday, auto sweep out happens in multiples of 10K. I maybe wrong, so try contacting the branch or customer care team.
The sweep AMOUNT is 10K as mentioned in the FAQs here: https://www.bankofbaroda.in/personal-banking/accounts/saving-accounts/super-savings-personal-account but the balance itself must be above 50K for the sweep to get triggered. That's how it works in all banks. Bro if minimum balance itself is 20K, how can sweep threshold be 10K by default? 🤣That being said, if some BOB employee has fooled around with your account and re-adjusted sweep setting to 10K, only then it's possible. Default is for balance above 50K. I am maintaining 21K-25K for a long time and it has never gone for auto-sweep. If your sweep is happening above 10K, then they have changed the default without your consent.

  • Is flexible auto/reverse sweep facility available under Baroda Super Savings account?
    It is indeed accessible.

Auto/Reverse sweep: With flexibility in threshold and sweep out amount. A minimum of Rs. 10,000 must be transferred automatically to a short deposit every 181 days for amounts over Rs. 50,000.

Reverse sweep: Multiples of Rs. 10,000 will be initiated as soon as the available balance in the savings account drops below the Rs. 50,000 threshold.
