Hi Folks,

As a certified Fora travel advisor, I have created a google form to make it easier to request rate quotes for luxury hotels and resorts.

For booking luxury hotels & resorts with perks and amenities like:
  • Upgraded rooms/suites on arrival
  • Daily breakfast at the hotel
  • Complimentary enhanced Wi-Fi
  • Resort or Hotel credit during stay
  • Early check-in / Late check-out
  • Complimentary Fruit Basket or Wine, etc
Exact perks and amenities offered vary by property and will be clearly specified along with the rate plans. These preferred partner perks and amenities are usually not available for booking through OTAs or even directly with the hotels/resorts. These bookings will typically give you VIP status placing you above the highest status levels of hotel loyalty programs.

Anticipated Questions:
What is Fora? Fora is a modern travel agency based out of New York city with a progressive tech platform and having preferred relationships with industry partners. For more details on Fora: https://www.foratravel.com/about-us

Why should we book with you vs another Fora advisor? There is no compelling advantage to booking with me vs another fora advisor. I am offering this as a streamlined service for obtaining quotes and making bookings. If you already work with a Fora travel advisor, you should stick with them for your travel needs.

Can't I just signup on Fora and book myself? Sure, but not so fast! There is a $300/year annual fee, an assessment to get accepted for onboarding, training programs and assessments to get certified, ongoing program rules and guidelines to be followed, etc. For more on becoming a fora advisor: https://tinyurl.com/joinfora

Why only Luxury Hotels & Resorts? Luxury hotels and resorts are what I have personal experience with and they offer perks and amenities for booking through travel advisors with preferred partner agencies like Fora. For more details on luxury hotel partners: https://www.foratravel.com/partners (I can book other hotels as well but they are just as easily booked through any OTAs or directly on the hotel website)

What is the process for booking? 1. Submit the request form - https://tinyurl.com/lhrperks 2. I send you rate plans and options via email. 3. If you want to book, reply with your preferred option. 4. I will send you a secure link to add your payment card to the Fora Vault to guarantee your booking with the hotel. 5. The booking is completed and confirmation is emailed to you.

How is payment handled? Payment will be charged directly by the hotel or resort based on the terms of the rate plan opted by you. For most luxury properties, payment is typically due only at the time of check-out and can be paid with any card or cash. In the case of prepaid or non-refundable rates payment may be charged to your card by the hotel at the time of booking or anytime before check-in. Fora does not charge your card for anything and is used only to guarantee the booking.

Do mention on your post, which International hotels accepts payments via points on HERA bookings. I think that will be helpful for others.
Unfortunately, this is a futile process. Bookings via hera for Accor properties are meant to be revenue bookings paid for with cash/card. Payment via points may be allowed at the hotel/front desk personnel's discretion and may vary from case to case. This is why you may have read of incidents where one person was able to pay with points while another person was denied payment by points.

My suggestion is to be prepared to pay by cash/card and try your luck to pay with points.
