As of now it’s possible to book through Gift Card through IHCL app but not Neu App. Best course of action is to book through Neu app if it’s a revenue booking if one has Neu/Infinity Card or go through IHCL app (apart from the obvious website/central reservation channels) if it’s through Gift Card.

Yesterday using tata neu app , I got and booked a good sea view room offer for HDFC Tataneu card members in Vivanta Hotel ( Kochi ), including breakfast at a very good discount of 30%, though cancellation is not possible. But today I don't find the same offer for HDFC Tataneu card members for IHCL hotels in the app ! Only Festivals of India offer ( breakfast + one meal) is available but at a much higher rate. Searching for Neupass & Neucard offers to book hotels is a little unpredictable in tataneu app. Also Vivanta Kochi doesn't show up in normal search of Hotels for that city , but only Ginger , Taj Malabar and Ama stays !!

Hey thanks for reaching out. There was an offer yesterday for HDFC Tata Neu users where users are getting a 1 time benefit of 30% discount. The offer would be live next week again but it's 1 time use only.

Thanks for pointing out Vivanta Kochi issue, it's something we are facing with Google APIs but we are working on the solution. This should be resolved in the coming days.

It would be a great idea to offer additional discounts for HDFC Tataneu card members in IHCL Hotels at least one day in every week like the AI Flight ticket booking offers using credit cards on the app , but you can restrict it to one redemption per month. Also a higher tier stutus for Tata Neu Infinity card holders would be good or at least relax number of stays/spends to progress from silver to gold tier , for Legend Neupass members and Tata Neu HDFC Infinity card holders. Your thoughts makes sense. Though we do offer and extra 10% instant discount every Thursday and Friday to HDFC Tata Neu card members. There is no limit on that as you can use it multiple times. On higher tier we did get the Silver for now, but Gold and Platinum IHCL is very particular about. Will check if something could be done to fast track the progress
 
One thing I saw that I booked Taj Cidade heritage last February through Tata Neu and got IHCL Silver through it, but the amount I spend at the hotel through various experiences that amount was not considered while calculating the milestone spends for Gold. I want a cleaner option in the app where all the spends at stays and expenses there are shown properly. Now it only shows the booking amount.

Another thing I want is while booking through Tata Neu, it will be great to have a pay at hotel/ pay via voucher option.

Did we get the dark mode option?

Payment via gift coupons/ Taj coupon/ Amex coupon though available at direct website is not on Tata Neu app. In any case this is direct booking for all purpose, if you make this payment mode available, it will be game changer. There are huge number of Amex fans here who have collected large number of coupons or can collect on their gold collection if payment is made available. Also this restriction of using standard rates it rather not great either. Everywhere else gift coupons is like any other payment method and does not have such restrictions.

Yes I noticed the 10% offer on Tataneu cards on Thursdays and Fridays, but requires a minimum spend of rs 20k . If it can be reduced to 10k it will be nice.

In Tata Neu, we can only show the bookings done via app and consider in calculation.
Pay at hotel though is available but in some specific rates it's disabled due to some restrictions by IHCL. We do a realtime check on your selected rate on the payment options possible for customer

For vouchers we are trying to workaround a way to make it possible on app but looks unlikely to happen but will push.

Restriction on using standard rates for vouchers is something totally IHCL prerogative where they have taken a business call.

Understand your point, i have tried to push this after a lot of feedback from users here. The problem we are facing is the voucher system in the backend is outdated and doesn't support any online redemption.

As mentioned above restriction on using voucher on standard rates is totally IHCL business call where I won't be able to comment on the cause.

Thanks for the detailed reply 🙂 so whatever I spend during the stay how can I keep track of that and make sure it's considered for Gold milestone spends?
