BPCL Octane card - Anyone got Rupay Varaint

Hi Guys, started using the above card after lot of fight even i got the annual fee waiver since my previous card is LTF one(PRIME) but i have got it flipped to BPCL octane for better rewards.
Today i called customer care and asked to reissue card with Rupay variant whereas current is VISA SIGNTAURE but they said platform switch is not possible.
Can anyone let me know how to deal with this ?

In SBI it's not possible to switch network.
