Bpcl sbi card issue

I swiped my bpcl sbi card at authorised bpcl petrol pump in pinlabs machine..
For 400/-
But my account debited by 411.80
Why so....?

Rs. 11.80 (10 + 18% GST) is Fuel surcharge. Don't worry fuel surcharge except GST amount of Rs. 1.80 will be waived and credited to the statement. If it doesn't happen call customer care and lodge complaint.

in other cards entire fuel surcharge is waived. but in bpcl only fuel surcharge basic amount is waived not gst amount.

This is really strange...thanks for informing. Best way for fuel is via Rewards Multiplier vouchers (Amex - RM, HDFC - Smartbuy or Amazon Pay vouchers)

So if they charged ₹10 for 400/-
Only 4000/- can be used under waived off......

For amount of ₹400 fuel surcharge will be 1% + gst i.e. ₹4.72 (4 + 0.72). Why did they charge you 11.80?

usually fuel surcharge is 1% but on some petrol pumps minimum rs 10 fuel surcharge is charged, depending on swipe machine or receiving bank.

Whenever I use these cards (Amazon pay, one card, rbl shoprite) the entire surcharge including GST amount is waived.

Wait! Apay and Onecard reverses the GST too!! Awesome for entry level LTF cards.
