I think that SBI intentionally makes mobile and net banking difficult to access to justify the workforce requirement. I have seen illeterate thelawals, lady vegetable vendors check their txns in phonepe and do basic management like checking account balance, scan and pay. SBI intentionally makes their mobile banking difficult to justify branch banking for illeterates. I am not saying no one needs branch banking, our seniors, less tech inclined and disabled population do need branch banking, but they could bring the 'passbook print karani hai' population to almost zero just by making mobile statements easier to access.

BoB actually named their statement section as mPassbook and I have seen my rural branch encourage everyone to use mPassbook.

SBI on the other hand was like 'Please install yono (to increase downloads) and F*** urself'

True, Inko apni app ko atm pe poster lgake promote krna aata hai bas aur kuch karna inke bas ka nhi hai, Old sh*t ui, Slow responses, no back gesture support, No fingerprint login, even BOB has a better app, bhai mazak nhi but inki app central bank se bhi bekar hai atleast usme back gesture ka support to hai. Inki app literally itni unusable hai maine khud 1 month ke nhi open kari but kya kare kabhi kabhi use karni padti hai. Or inke employees kya karne ke liye kehte hai app mai, Kya hai inki app mai? Basic UI to chodo koi usable option nhi hai
