Yes they will.
I got moneyback cc with 40k limit 4 years back on bsbda account as pre-approved offer.
But they asked me to close cc before closing account

I did over transactions,account freezed and branch got email from head office to convert this account to 10k account. I refused and decided to close

I am also having account with them and after getting cc either I will close the account or convert to bsbda .

U can fight over that issue. Anyhow that time I was fed with moneyback,so closed it without asking any further.

I suggest u to upgrade ur account to 5k account and do transactions peacefully and get eligible for cc quickly

Oh sorry i thought u r OP and having bsbda.
I don't think u can convert normal account to bsbda. I never saw such scenario. U better close account after getting cc.

No,one hdfc bm suggested me to avoid upi and use only neft imps for more impact towards offers.
I followed same and got cc offer in 3 months.
I suggest you to do same
