Nirmala Ji is set to present the Union Budget for 2025-26 tomorrow (February 1, 2025). Salaried taxpayers and the middle class have been waiting for potential income tax relief, especially modifications to the new income tax regime. (15L tax-free? yeah no chance 😛)

But honestly, I don’t have any hopes. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the same copy-paste script with minimal tweaks that effectively are in their own favor.

What are your expectations? Do you think there will be any real relief, or is it just another year of Nirmala tai memes?

Every year news channels and social media builds hype about tax benefits but we do not receive anything significant.
This year tax cut will be there as it is prime requirement of economy. I expect some policies to boost consumption based economy. And more capex and infra based push for GDP growth.

I think this is first budget (since I have understood anything about budget) where everyone seems hopeless.

I was also thinking to do the same, but still confused to buy the market dip or take that phone 🤣
