I have upgraded my card to Saphiro, but they have not charged me the joining fee yet. I am waiting for the statement generation before I activate my card.

I think you need to activate the card first and then the statement will be generated.

ok, and when it is reversed, how do we get it back? Is it in original mode of payment? Since we had already paid the fees.BI

I recently got upgrade from Platinum to Emeralde through ICICI Pay app but cancelled the ICICI Emeralde CC after much deliberation (without any usage in 30 days) because I realized how useless this card is after reading extensively on this very forum - the number of people saying ICICI cards are useless really hit me hard.

I had not used the card yet and it was within the second week of getting the card delivered. At the time there was no (joining fee) charge on the card account and so there is no question of being able to pay the joining fee.

My question is - how will this work for people upgrading from (pre-approved) ICICI pay app because you won't get the joining benefits until you pay the joining fees !
