Building credit score with add-on credit cards

Does this even work ? I've add-on HDFC cards, but did not result with any CBIL score.

May be HDFC doesn't reports ADD ON to cibil.
BOB does, I've experience from BOB.

Cool, that means it does work. Would be helpful if we can build a list of cards that work. Will update opening post.

I think there was a post of this add on card reporting to cibil.
Haven't seen any update on that thread

For Amex Gold, I have both primary as well as supplementary card in my name. Shown separately in credit report.

I think my OP may have been misread. The youtuber is claiming to build a credit score for someone who has only an add-on card, like a student with no income. I'm still not able to google anything that says it's true, all article says the credit is only effected for the primary holder.
