If I get 4gms of 24k 999.9 purity gold , can I exchange it for 22k gold at a jewellers ?

Assuming 7500 rate per gram of 24k , the 4 GM's is worth 30000.

22k is currently I'd say 6700 , so 4gms will be 26,800. Will the making charges be deducted from the remaining 3200 and I pay the difference? Is there still gst after this ?

jeweller dont buy 24k at this high price. So like for 22k buy price and sell price are different at same jeweller, same goes for 24k. Generally you will get around 2k difference between 22k gold buy and 24k gold sell.
i.e.
24k gold sell price - 22k gold buy price = Rs. 2000

Arbitrage is GONE now...Today's IBJA rate is 71901 per 10 gm or 7190 per gm whereas ajio per gm rate after discount is 7521..It is loss making proposition now....RIP this method to earn 8% to 10% instant profit.

I use 24K for swapping at 22k Purchase for the Jeweler I have known for 15 years. He takes 24K at 24K market price only for me. If there is any difference after exchange I will pay him. This is not applicable for all, because I have known him from long time.
