Did anybody try this?
As per gyftr terms vouchers not usable on apple products.
However reliance digital store guys said, they haven’t faced any probs.
Anybody really tried in reliance store with gyftr voucher for Apple products?

I was thinking, can it be that the terms are just there.
Would have loved to buy an iPhone using infinia accelerated smartbuy rewards.
I can use Croma too, but Croma has 50k monthly limits.

Reliance digital gift cards sold on Amazon are by gyftr too, but they don’t write about this Apple exclusion on Amazon product page.

Croma + card discount would be your best bet
Along with GST or Student discount
For Mac
Looking for iPhone 17 pro. I guess student discount won’t work on it. I am not a student, but have a high schooler at home.

Also iPhone 17 pro variants are oos in most places, that’s why was just looking for options if I get a chance at my nearby reliance digital store, then would pick it up using GV.

I purchased a OnePlus mobile phone from Reliance Digital using a gift voucher, even though, as per the terms and conditions, gift vouchers are not permitted for such purchases.
thanks a ton. Yes oneplus is excluded as well. so basically the t&c is just to ward off ppl looking for deep discounts on premium products.

You may try redeeming a small amount first, such as ₹250, at the POS to check if it works. If successful, you can then redeem the remaining balance. Please note that GST input tax credit cannot be claimed when making a payment with a gift voucher.

Hi, I am planning to buy a laptop using vouchers from gyftr of Reliance Digital/Croma/Vijay Sales. I am also planning to use my GST number as the purchase is for my business. So, in that case will I not be able to claim 18% GST back? Is it only for Reliance Digital or in general for vouchers used anywhere? Thanks!

When you buy any product from reliance digital using gift voucher then there billing system disable gst number field so they can't billing to GST registered person. I have noticed it when I bought using gift voucher.

Thank you for your prompt response. Do you have any idea if it is the same for others as well? Say for example, Croma?

No idea for croma.
No problem. Thank you. I just now noticed from your profile that you are a CA. So, I had one more question. Is there any issue with the mode of payment (like gyftr voucher) and claiming Input Tax Credit if the store gives GST Invoice with business GST mentioned?

One of the conditions for claiming Input Tax Credit (ITC) is that payment to the supplier must be made within 180 days. Therefore, if you purchase gift vouchers from your business account, there is no issue. However, if you purchase gift vouchers using your personal account or credit card, you will need to prove payment to the supplier in the future should any query be raised by the GST department..

Thank you! For example, let's say you use your Infinia to buy Vouchers worth of Rs.50k of Croma and I use those vouchers to buy a product through Croma then I need to show that I transferred Rs.50k to you through bank account? Will you become supplier in this case since I used your vouchers?
