buying cycle suggestion

Need a good cycle ..where i will be cycling 30-45mins daily on road..roads r good and bad mix as its a tier 2 small town..
currently using bsa photon..its non gear cycle..
suggest some gear and non gear cycles..
pros and cons of both types of cycle
max budget is 10k
online or offline..where to buy..share that suggestion too

Around 7-9 k u can get good
7 gear cycle with tourney gears
Also
Spend on jacket and pant maybe a helmet
