Call from axis bank

How to verify if it's genuine. She was offering me iocl, samsung infinite and Flipkart axis on ltf. She said they were pre-approved but was asking for all the details we usually give during new cc application. I am afraid it's not genuine. How to verify?

Ask her to send the same details on your email. If you receive an email ending with (at)axisbank(dot)com, then she is an employee. Other domains imply either its an agent or a scam.

I highly recommend not sharing details over a phone call, No CC is worth getting scammed 🙂

When bank calls , easy to verify is only thing if they need is last 4 digits ..
Rest everything is known to them..

Most they can ask is mother name & dob

While Applying card on recorded line , they can ask you confirm the exact same address ..untill u say same damm address u can't get forward.

If u feel like u r being overwhelmed.. cut the call .
Call to the bank yourself , Askin for same information.

Bank never calls with Regular number ..untill u get call from PnO or above that too is recorded line & only outgoing
