BM offering alternate options instead of reverting cheque bounce charges. What can I get from Axis Bank?

In simple words, a cheque I wrote got bounced. It was 100% my mistake, so silly of me. I visited branch but they denied the Rs 590 charges reversal. I told the branch I will write to Nodal/PNO. They were respectful, and suggested me to try it. I wrote to Nodal. PNO replied and approved cheque bounce charges reversal.

BUT it seems like this has been taken as a complaint against the branch. The BM called me an hour ago and requested I take back my complaint. BM says "Sir, we are incapable to reverse these charges. But we can give you something else that you want." I told them I want nothing.

But this is where we are. What can I get from Axis? I see that their CC are borderline useless, but is there a good Axis CC I can try to get LTF via BM approval?
For context, this is a priority salary account of a family member. ITR ~7L.

Don't stress if PNO has approved cheque bounce reversal then communicate the same to BM, tell him you just placed a request for the same, hadn't made any complaint against him. You want your money back, you can reconsider your decision only if BM can offer something equal or greater than that charges and must be meaningful to you.

I quoted the same, word. He simply panicked and repeated that he isn't authorised to approve. So, I asked him to do what he can and I will deal with PNO myself.

BM said he got a call from PNO team, directing him to reach out to me and resolve my concern. I'm surprised. My request to PNO was a 3-line email, simple and straightforward. I accepted my fault and requested a one-time reversal of cheque bounce charges.

By the way, reason of cheque bounce, what sorts of mistake was it?
I maintain a good MAB in that account. Unfortunately, I got cheeky and withdrew more than the usual amount once and it was the same day my father wrote a cheque.
