Can hdfc cancel Creditcard based on network change?

Hi there,
I got approved for moneyback today morning
It was on mastercard variant, i called cc and asked them to covert it to rupay
Then i called them again to cancel the request
They said they have raised the issue to cancel the previous request
Can it lead to cancellation of my card?

To my knowledge, U should have got the card then apply for conversion.

I think customer care agent enter on the system that you don't want the cc.

No no he was quite experienced
Are there any chances of card block or cancellation?

What did you discuss on phone? Did you stress that the cancellation request was only for network change? Are you an existing HDFC customer with access to net banking? If you are, go to cards section and see if there is a card tagged to your account
