Can I Cancel the Axis Ace Credit Card After the First Year? Need Guidance!

I'm considering getting the Axis Ace Credit Card through an offer on Google Pay, which gives the first year free, with a ₹499 fee starting from the second year. I will cancel the card after the first year to avoid the fee. Is it possible to cancel the card without any issues?

They won't convert to LTF, but every year you can get annual fees reversal very easily.

Yes I received the sms that few reversal has been successfully processed.
But is not seeing the refund yet.
Called customer care they said ,it will be added in the next billing statement.
Is this the way of fee reversal?

How? What's the drama 🎭 do we have to pull for that?

Keep some unpaid amount then call them for card closure. retention team will get back to you and promptly provide refund of annual fees. doing this since 2 years on Flip Axis card.

See this offer on gpay valid from today, is it still worth with zero joining fee? All bill payments are being taken care through Amazon pay currently

Not quite sure if it would be instant approval, gpay was asking SMS read access when I tried to proceed. I left there.

I am too not able to apply. It says already an existing relationship with axis bank. Apply from axis bank's website
