Can we Upgrade HDFC DCP to HDFC DCB / DCB Metal Directly?

I currently hold Millennia. RM said I could also hold DCP. Can I go from DCP to DCB directly and skip Regalia?
My dad got Diners Club Premium (discontinued now. Had 2.5K fee back then) to DCB directly but that was 2 years ago. Is it possible now?

y e s, as long as you fulfil any of their conditions/criteria. its doesn't matter existing card even moneyback+ works, just need to followup properly.

its possible, many of them earlier during 2020 had both dcb and infinia. its very easy if first diners then we can request with low acceptance issues. nowadays they mostly upgrade but a good rm always can do that.

I guess that is floater route. I'm just saying generally it's not possible. Exceptions are always there ^^

Nowadays it's even not possible with exceptions.

You have to request or do spends on another card and fulfill other criteria to hold both but again both primary will not be possible.

Higher Variant will always become primary & lower becomes floater.

I got the option to get either DCP or Mariott. You can have a Diners floater along with your Visa/MC.

I have millenia and got bizblack as floater. So, which one is primary.? I called for date change on bizblack, and they said its floater card and depends on primary, millenia.

Bizblack will never be upgraded to infinia as its a business card
Millennia will be upgraded to infinia but as you hold bizblack the returns will be less in Millennia

IMO they won't consider your spends on BizBlack to upgrade Millennia to Infinia.
