Update on Usage of Canara Master World Debit Card at International Airport Lounge:
So my brother used his Canara Master World Debit Card on Oct 10th, 2024 at Plaza Premium Lounge at Terminal 2, Melbourne Airport, Australia.
He used it first time so yearly complimentary 2 Self + 2 Guest were left on card. At lounge reception he asked the operator to swipe the Canara Bank Debit card on loungekey POS Terminal and she did the same for 1 Self + 2 Guest and As per TnC, a $35 USD per person i.e $105 were charged to card which came nearly Rs.9136.22 on that day and on Oct 19, 2024, the same amount was reversed to account.
Points to remember before swiping card.
All your international txns should be enabled and amount equal to $35 per person should be available else it will decline. So before he left for Australia, I activated Intl Txns on Debit card and set Rs.25000 limit at POS/Online/Tap to Pay (In India tap to pay has 5000 max. limit).
This same card provides domestic lounge access also within India per quarter with 2 Self + 1 Guest free. He used the same i.e 1 Self + 1 Guest at New Delhi IGI Terminal 3 Encalm Lounge at International departures and Rs.25 Mastercard fee was debited and credited back instantly. For kid, he swiped his own PNB Platinum Rupay Debit card on which Rs.2 were charged which was not refunded.

Intl Free lounge for 2 Self + 2 Guests is free in a calender year i.e between Jan 1 - Dec 31 not quarterly as in case of domestic airport lounge access.
There is no minimum spend criteria in previous quarter as of now but better use it one time for POS (offline or online) so as to activate it.
