So Can Setu no more playable with IDFC RP.
So Final Nail Nailed on the Coffin.

IDFC still working using Firstap RuPay variant (this is your 2nd debit card).
Use on Phonepe app no extra charges for RuPay and all merchant names eligible only on RuPay. Visa user get 99.99% times 6012 MCC Code and also conv fee. So use IDFC RuPay
Note - reward points + 10x rewards depend on your Account variant - normal, Select, Wealth and Private account + you will also get one more time welcome rewards using Firstap first trxn 1.5k+.
Earlier idfc was giving a welcome points bonus as well right? Are they still giving it?

See, here this month one IDFC Wealth account holder get 2 times 8k+8k reward, total 16k welcome rewards (one primary Visa + 2nd IDFC firstap RuPay Platinum DC)
Note - RuPay variant you will also get same rewards rate and 10x rewards on CC bill payment transaction on Phonepe app -

Bad News - Canara Setu merchant name now changed to "Canara Bank" for Visa/MasterCard/RuPay.
Note - RBL says MCC Code is 6012 and Indusind customer care also told MCC Code - 6012
I dnt know about IDFC RuPay variant yet but i m sure same MCC Code we will get.
Note - IDFC Firstap RuPay Platinum DC (Normal, Select, Wealth and Private account) users now use Phonepe app only, Freecharge also supported without any charges for RuPay variant but not verified yet.

Just few mins ago someone paid 1 lakh bill using phonepe - IDFC Firstap RuPay Platinum DC
What's the error you get ? also check your card ecom limit and increase the limit.
edit: also check your credit card bank available limit to pay. HDFC bank not allow to pay above generated bill amount.
