Cancellation on United Mileage

Guys, I hve recently booked award tickets on United Mileage prog for which I was charged 80USD. Forex markup charges on Magnus is 2%+GST, I know

But when i cancelled the tickets and when the 80USD was refunded back to me, even then Axis Magnus charged me 2%+GST...Is it normal or should i raise a complaint ?? Pls advise

It is normal I feel. Same happened to me.

It is mentioned 2%+ GST forex markup on every foreign transaction irrespective of it being a spend or a refund.

Yes forex will be charged for both
