Cancelling card with multiple cards - what happens of limits

I have very recent ICICI Platinum (first statement came on 20 Jun) card -- but have applied for the Alumnus LTF Programme Sapphiro card, which I'll probably be receiving soon.

Now, I'm thinking I'll close the ICICI Platinum card once Sapphiro comes. The Platinum has a limit of 1.1L - and Sapphiro I hear comes with 3L or more.

Will my Sapphiro limit be decreased when I close the Platinum? Could it be decreased to below 3L?

The limit on your Sapphiro card will remain the same.
