Cannot Register UPI on TATA Neu app!!!

I recently got Tata Neu card LTF. I already had a Tata Neu account but never registered for UPI.
Its been 3 days I have trying to register but it throws Some thing went wrong error.

I sent the below email to customer support and still waiting for a response. Have you guys encountered the same and if yes any help would be appreciated!

Hello,
I cannot register on UPI via TATA Neu app.
I have tried more than 10 times in 3 days.

Device: iPhone 14 Pro
Software: Latest version ios 18.2
Tata Neu app: Tried reinstalling 5-10 times, also updated version
Sim: Single Physical Sim (Mobile Data On)

Tried restarting phone many many times.
I DO NOT switch to other apps while registering.
The UPI registration message gets successfully send.
Then it throws an error every-time!

All other UPI applications work perfectly!! (Paytm,GPay,Phonepay etc)

There is always some issue with Tata neu app. I faced another issue that the Tata neu app's scanner started failing identifying the QR code's, while it was working fine with other UPI apps. Restarted the app, reinstalled and reregistered, cleared the cache etc. but still it was failing.
Ultimately i had to start using other UPI apps.
