Cannot withdraw from Phonepe wallet

I added 50k to my phonepe wallet and while trying to withdraw to my own account getting an error message saying "Blocking payment transaction from happening due to suspected fraud." What to do regarding this?

PhonePe wallet is not a UPI wallet, correct? Then, what was the purpose of adding 50K to that wallet, and how were you supposed to withdraw the amount when adding it?

Ever since PhonePe introduced full KYC, it is a UPI wallet for full-KYC-completed customers. It is hoarding on to money for "security" even for these customers. Even amounts not terribly big like 20K. Paytm and Amazon Pay never did such shit. I guess they are just asking for RBI's bamboo and compensation to pay to the customer. For 24 hours, your money is stuck in there if you load to it so I suggest you do not use it.

Do you mean if I complete Full KYC in PhonePe Wallet, I can use its balance to pay any non-PhonePe user as well, like how Amazon Pay Wallet does?

So I can do a mobile top up-- I just did Rs 10 mobile top up from Phonepe wallet.
But 5 days I cannot withdraw to bank, even one rupee withdrawal is declined for security reasons.

Everyday customer care says that we have escalated the issue and to wait for three more working days, and it keeps on dragging on

Please let it cool down for 7 days at least.
Uske baad try kriye ga , ho jayega withdraw.
Mere case me to 4k tha bs, lekin 7 days wait krwaya inhone .

You did the right thing to complain to RBI. PhonePe is not a bank and does not have the legal authority to withhold money in the wallet for 7 days. I am sure they are violating rules.

I got an offer of cashback on PhonePe wallet autopay top up. Without even reading about PhonePe wallet I enabled autopay. After I realised that transferring money back to bank was not so straightforward, I set out to do kyc, however my pan and Aadhar have surname and first name in reverse order. This was never a problem anywhere except here, they declined my kyc. I then option of buying only gold to redeem my money, the merchant QR option works only for PhonePe QRs. I saw an option to close the wallet, the terms and conditions were that you would be never able to open wallet again in PhonePe. The money was refunded in an instant.

The cashback one receives is in form of PhonePe gift card, only way to redeem it is by buying 24 k gold in their app and selling it after mandatory 24 hours lock in time. Of course the redeemed money will be minus the gst for selling gold
