Card suggestions for 4Lac spends

My father is going to get amex plat travel next month as we planning to purchase jewellery arround 4 lacs. I know that amex doesn't allow redemption against gold collection and I have no knowledge about hotel/flight points transfer as we never commute via flight, infact we did pune-kanyakumari-pune on road.



That besides, we are planning for a trip to JK or Andaman whichever is feasible next Summer and I wanted to know if getting plat travel for Marriott /Taj voucher would be worth it or not. We are open for any other suggestions as well
