Card to build credit score for spouse

Planning to get a credit card or my wife (homemaker) with very low ITR. She is an add on member on my cards, I have solid relationships with bank and have decent income. Which card can be tried for her? The purpose is to build a credit score...

Tried with SBI but it was rejected. HDFC through online application didnt go through as income was <6lakhs.

How much time does it take to build credit score? My wife just got a hdfc cc and paid its first bill but there's no cibil record as of now as per gpay,onescore etc app

HDFC reports to Cibil timely so it should reflect by next month

Get amex add on for your wife , amex reports even add on cards to cibil, I did the same for my wife

Problem here too. Not Getting Unsec card from hdfc even open savings account.
using one card fd based from past 2 years. Good cibil score. but hdfc still rejecting . dont wanna provide income prof as having under 10k salary. waiting for ist unsecured card

how does it show up in her report? what is limit shown? is it the full card limit or the amount you set as the limit on her card? does it show up as a special add on card different to how it shows up on your report (primary holder)? what about utilization?

ICICI and HDFC will give card based on bank account if you have. I guess Axis too. Start with entry level cards and then slowly upgrade.

In ICICI you can get card based in FD through net banking itself. No need to call or visit bank.

No limit shown currently on onescore, just cards show up , amex has been doing this since a way but customer care is clueless about this
