Cashback time in HDFC Platinum debit card

I paid my HDFC credit card bill via net banking on 24 Feb. At what time can I expect the Cashback to be credited? Is it on quarterly bases? Or calendar month bases?

For HDFC credit card I receive Cashback on 1st or 2nd of every month. But for debit card I didn’t get any Cashback yet

I dont think you get any Cashback for paying credit card bill via Netbanking.
If you've made payment using bill pay using platinum debit card you should get cash back with in a week.

In bill pay there was no option of HDFC bank, so I assumed that we’ve to pay via net banking. Is this 1% Cashback only application on other bank’s bill payments?

We won't get Cashback for paying via Netbanking.
Also we can't pay HDFC credit card bill via bill pay, you'll have to use third party apps like Paytm if you need Cashback on debit card spends through HDFC credit card payments.

If you have Platinum debit card and use HDFC billpay to pay non-HDFC credit card bills then you will receive 1% cashback.
IF you have Millennia debit card then you can load paytm wallet and see if you can pay hdfc credit card bill using your paytm wallet balance.

Nah, even through mobikwik you get 1% on hdfc debit card points upto 750. Mobikwik cashback is separate.

Alright I didn't knew then been paying from cred and hdfc netbanking for so long so will try paying via mobikwik then.

Keep this in mind that mobikwik is having a 20k per transaction limit using platinum debit card

Did some research and have a bit of idea now why only platforms using Bharat Billpay work for the cashback. I think it's because all payments through this gateway use the MCC 4900 which is the utilities MCC eligible for cashback.

Unfortunately, Mobid*** is creating a lot of problems and preventing me from paying CC bill 😂

The hunt is on for an alternate app!
