CashKaro offer: SBI SimplyClick vs Simply Save for 10% Instant Discounts that SBI CB is exempted from. Pros Cons of SC vs SS?

I also have
APAY + ICICI Plat
Magnus
SBI CB
MRCC now

Since SBI CB was exempted from most of the Festive Sales Instant Discounts.

I figured this would be a worthy way to get in. In hindsight I should've gone via CK for my SBI CB also to save on the Annual Fee.

Go for SBI BPCL rather than SimplyClick for the following reasons:

1. Milestone at a lower spend limit and hence fee waiver sooner compared to SimplyClick.
2. Ability to get the card in RuPay making it more easier to hit the spend threshold than manufactured spends.
3. Removal of Amazon from 10x RP for SimplyClick makes it less valuable now.

(Of course no comparison with CB because of the card's strength)

I have SBI BPCL Visa credit card and have tried multiple times recently for RuPay conversion. Every time SBI denied to convert it to RuPay variant from Normal Customer Care to NO, PNO, Card Closure Team even after sharing new RBI guidelines of network portability which is applicable from Oct 1.

If it doesn't impact your credit history, better close it and re-apply if you already have other SBI cards. Or during retention, tell them you don't mind keeping it if they can issue one in RuPay. Who knows what will happen? No harm in trying.

This also didn't worked for me. Already had raised card closure request and retention team called me. They were clueless on new RBI guidelines regarding network portability. They told me that till now they haven't received anything from SBI internally regarding network portability. I don't mind keeping visa variant as I already have 10 RuPay credit cards in my family (includes 2 virtual RuPay credit cards).

I just got my CB card
In application process, they told me abt card charges and benefits on call
Now how is it wise to raise closure request
on the basis of card issuance charges
3 days only
Hahahahha.

Is this largely for Fuel spends? I do not currently have any. Unless something else you are alluding towards?

Raise closure request via app & executive will call you back & probably refund the annual fees.

IYKYK
Will try as I am pushing most online payments on it so far.
PS: But need the SBI for 10% Off that I missed in festive AMZN shopping. So which one SC vs SS?

PS: That was the first 2 second application ever 😀 lol! Somone online wasnt lying.

Likely it had all my data from before as SBI CB was barely a month hold / or retrieved again.

Approved Sent in 2-5 days. Literally no steps after putting Name, Number, OTP. Boom! No Aadhar, No PAN!

😀

PS:
Now Im wondering if I can reapply for SBI CB and get two. LOL! or get CK Bonus and then close one.
