Cb on Hdfc dc on cc bill pay

I have a bill of 68K in sbi cb cc..i have easyshot platinum dc of hdfc..
what if i pay the bill via paytm..will i get 1% cashpoints?
or i have to pay via hdfc bill portal only to get 1% cashpoints..
note : paytm giving me a coupon to pay bills and get 10000paytm points for cc bill pay..

You can pay using HDFC net banking or SBI Unipay only as Paytm's MCC is not eligible for 1%

SBI is on BBPS so doesn't matter both ways the bill will be reflected as both follow the same mechanism. But I would prefer HDFC Billpay as its much more reliable for big transactions

HDFC easyshop platinum debit card gives 1% cashback points on utility transactions (mcc-4900) The MCC of hdfc billpay is that of utility (4900) so u will get 1% cashback but in case of Paytm credit card bill payment the MCC is of prepaid wallet load/financial institutions think (6540/6012) so u won't get any cashback
