From 15-Oct-2025, airport lounge access on your RuPay Platinum Debit Card will require minimum spend of Rs 5000 in the previous quarter. Only POS and e-com transaction will be considered to avail 1 complimentary domestic lounge visit per quarter -CBOI

Indian bank already introduced it recently. Looks like more PSU banks might follow the same soon. Still 5k per quarter is reasonable.

True. But still better than icici CCs like sapphiro which have annual fees of 3.5k but still requires 75k quarterly spends for lounge

Wait... I thought only LTF Sapphiros had the spend criteria for Lounge... The paid ones also have that?

Yes it is applicable for both paid and LTF cards. I would rather take 3 different banks' RSDC cards and still save some money instead of paying Rs.3500+gst annually for the useless Sapphiro card

5K is decent.
