Chargeback request on my order from Samsung store

Hi Guys,

I've purchased a washing machine from Samsung Shop app on Mar 27th and the promised delivery date was 31st March. But, i haven't received the product until today. Bluedart is they delivery partner. They are giving the same update on their tracking details that the shipment is not received which is internal to them. Even after multiple escalations, i dont see any progress on the issue. I only get the same update from samsung team that Bluedart is investigating it but there is absolutely no progress on the matter.

Can you please advise what can i do here? Can i raise a successful chargeback against this order with SBI? I have placed the order using SBI CB card. If so, can you please be kind enough to explain the process?

Yeah you can raise it under service not delivered.. login into the app and goto dispute transaction section(i think it's under services tab).
Once raised, you will get an email where they will ask you for merchant communication over email so you would have to attach emails, call recordings etc.. and send it to chargeback@sbicard.com (or something similiar which will be mentioned in email)..

Note: they will give you a temp limit for the transaction amount but in-case the investigation rules out in favour of merchant then they will reverse the temp limit and issue penalty(for late payment etc).. so I would recommend that you pay the whatever full amount mentioned in monthly statement is generated and if the investigation is in your favour you can request excess limit to be transferred to bank account.

Thanks mate. I already paid the entire amount since statement was generated on 3rd itself. I dont have the call recordings but i have the Bluedart tracking screenshot and the multiple emails which i have sent to Samsung support.

Yes you have a good case I believe, now SBI will be sending you a mail asking you to provide details. Write a good summary using Chatgpt with dates u had followed up and how samsung and bluedard are both pointing to each other in past 1 month without resolving the issue. It would take around 45 days for SBI to finish up investigation with merchant bank and give a verdict.
