Check SBI credit card actual rejection reason

If you got a nonsensical or vague reason for SBI credit card rejection like for e.g. "due to internal policy", etc., you can check the real reason via an SBI credit card executive. These people roam around SBI branches, malls, airports, petrol pumps, etc.
They have a mobile app called PowerPlay. The app is not available for end users.
After opening the PowerPlay app, there are forms to apply for different SBI credit cards. Select a random credit card to apply. In the application form there is a text box to enter PAN number and a button below it that says "PAN Dedupe". Enter the PAN number and click the button "PAN Dedupe". No other details need to entered. There is no CIBIL hit. You will get details of all SBI credit cards applied against that PAN number with the details of rejection/selection under "Status" and "Reason Code".
The code can looked up further in the attached PowerPoint slides which has some common rejection codes. The slides mention ways to fix the issues and the cooling period.
There is one more attachment with all the rejection codes for reference. But its of no use as it doesn't mention the corrective measures.

I reduced my limit from 4.7L to 47k on ICICI many months back. It did show 47k on CIBIL but now my limit has been permanently reduced to 47k. I got limit inc offer 7 days back to 84k.

Yes I asked ICICI to reduce my Apay card limit permanently to get SBI cashback card. Even closed LTF coral cc too.

I reduced my ICICI card limit from 5L to 3L by mailing customer care and after 3days they called me to reduce the limit and they even said I mite not be able to Increase limit for a while but once I got my SBI cb card...I checked imobile app & under limit enhancement I could still see the option to increase back to 5L and so I did.

rn not applying for any cards as I am under some cash crunch due to some huge thing I bought recently, will check after few months.

I already have cashback card so enjoying that but it's under my SIL add on hence I always have that curiosity of getting one of my own.

Just give a try, SBI PhonePe Select has some features of CB. Recently I too have got it.
