Cheq app has started charging processing fee for credit card bill payment:​

The processing fee is flat 0.2% upto Rs.99.



Alternative apps for Credit Card bill repayment -

1) CRED - Pay Rs50,001+ and get debit card payment option,

2) Mobikwik

3) Bajaj Finserv

4) Paytm - Visa/RuPay debit card accepted or alternative way is first load money to paytm wallet and now pay cc bill using your Paytm wallet balance/Paytm gift voucher balance

5) HDFC bill pay for HDFC users.

6) Axis cc bill pay via net banking/app - You will get debit card option via Freecharge gateway.

I think it is still more than 3k, because in initial days, I used to split my payments in very small parts to earn maximum cashback. Also I used to make a lot of transactions on Cred UPI, which was giving very good cashback; there are times where I paid 20rs and got 25rs cashback.

I availed Merchant offers like Zepto ,dunzo and Swiggy Instamart.

At zepto once I received 400 back for 400 txn.

Withdrew cheq points to cash at 25% conversion. Who knows if they downgrade 25% to 10% tomorrow. There is no business model/profitibility probably in this area.

May be its time to literally just dumb the application 😂

yes, it seems they have increased the winning rate of cashback..(I am not sure if it is due to less usage of cred by me in recent months) I have done 6 1k payments and got 97 cashback(in 3 days).. But now each spin consume 1k coins..
I didn't know this earlier, but cred has introduced coin generator.. which means you will get 6k -18k free coins every 6 hours..
keep visiting the coin generator and you will get infinite coins.

have not paid a single bill in cred since April
and in the new UI, unable to find coin generator either
only use CRED has now for me is searching for CC offers across all cards at one place, especially convenient for flights

10k Payment Fee:-Rs-20.

Cheq chips Earned 100 which is Equivalent to Rs.25 in Cash

Net Profit of Rs. 5 in cash/10k Payment😂

Benifits of DC used for Payment is Seperate.

HDFC DC doesn't consider Cheq payments for giving 1% cashback

Have used it right around its launch. I remember once I got cashback of 2k on credit card payment. But no use now…have more than 72L coins with no meaningful burn options

It's still decent if you pay 1k at a time. Getting 10-20 as cashback
