Now installation team is saying they don't do core cutting & we need to do it ourself

Those who recently bought chimney please share your installation experience

Did product team do core cutting?

ETA for installation & no. Of visits

Is this a good model with latest features?

Yep they don't do core cutting

Installation completed in one visit only as I had done all the necessary preparations beforehand i.e core cutting, plug points etc.

It is a good model.

But I've seen in amazon flipkart some verified purchases saying chimney company took 3 visits A inspection B core cutting C installation
How did you do core cutting yourself, using machine or third party?

Third party.

I bought it offline from a local distributor

I bought Faber and local authorized person came for installation... He asked me the site photo for review. I had the cutting and 6inch pipe as well. I purchased reducer and 4inch pipe from him due to small cutting

Ok, so total kharcha:

1. Chimney
2. Installation cost (I think installation is not usually free?)
3. All civil work

So, usually 7-8k extra from chimney cost. Am I right?
