Finally an RM from Axis called for my citibank account.. saying transition will finish by june 2024 and to expect more communication around the same.more regularly..He didn't have any info on what the plan was for CCs. Said that they are reviewing on case to case and the eligibility limits may be relaxed. I specifically asked for 3L credit. / Magnus etc.. He was non commital.

So officially , they started the process of corrupting the good quality accounts into drainage ,
now Dilse Open moments to former Citi holders!!
Very unfortunate.. a case study for the future generations

Yesterday I had some conversation with Citi Customer Care regarding the Annual Fee waiver... So, while talking to them I asked about what's going to happen to Citibank Cards now... He said the same thing that we'll be provided with an Axis Card in lieu of Citi cards but still no such list about which cards will be exchanged for which ones....

Neither you both Nor CC products heads at Axis know how this transition is going to take place. That's axis way of doing things

Not best at all
Hope for worst..

Because if citi experience is mineral water
Axis is at most pond water.

My recommendation will be don't hope at all
yeah.. i am scouting for alternatives.. may close the account soon and move to another salary account.. any good suggestions for salary account??

Well !!!! takeovers are messy sometimes.... let's hope for the best
How long ago they announced this takeover?

Of course takeovers of this magnitude always pose challenges..
Business its self a challgenge to run..

Its about how they dealt this transition with a proper plan, execution and most imporantly timely and clear communication to all the stake holders invloved..
Communication ( or perhaps lack ther of ) is the biggest drawback of AXIS.. forget about communicating with third parties, communication with in the AXIS Bank itself is the worst..

Give another 2 years, they will be at the same place where they are now...

Ye axis nahi sudhrega

I am not an Axis customer. People seem to be unnecessarily harsh on Axis. Most Citi customers hold the Citi Rewards CC which probably won't figure in the top-25 list of most rewarding CCs. Plus its annual fees are waived on spends of Rs 35k, I believe. Yet everyone expects Axis to offer them Atlas or Magnus LTF. That's extortionate, I say. People should have reasonable expectations. LTF is a short term curse that will sooner or later end.

the harsh attitude to toward their service approach.. not toward reasonable products.. citi rewards is a below avg card..no expectations from. axis apart from. a. smooth transition and reasonable product substitution.. else the money they spent to buy citi will. be a huge waste if they lose what they paid for

It’s just may be your assumption..

These two sentences won’t be credible when put together..
@S S V It is an observation from reading Citi-Axis related threads on TF. Almost everyone, "Almost" being a keyword there, are expecting Atlas / Magnus for their Citi Rewards cards. That's like asking for Gold, not even Silver, in exchange of Bronze! I did say that "People seem to be unnecessarily harsh on Axis." In fact, not just Axis. SBI, HDFC and ICICI get a lot of hate too on TF. Sometimes the banks goof up but often it is unrealistic expectations from people.
