Closing Flipkart axis CC.

TF Premier
I have this card with 40k limit. This was my first credit card I got in September 2022. Now I have axis myzone LTF with 1.4L limit and SBI cashback with 20k limit which I use instead of Flipkart cc on Flipkart. Should I close axis Flipkart card? I can only see one use case where it gives extra discount as axis card and 5% cashback on Flipkart sale.

I would keep it for another year or so and reevaluate. Try for fee waiver. Also, one year is too early to close your first card, let your other cards age for sometime.

SBI CB can be devalued, and if my shopping is a lot on Flipkart I would rather have at least two cards that offer similar benefits.

So does closing oldest card really hamper the credit score? Also does axis provide any retention offers if I request to close?

Yes whatever credit history was created since you got your first card since it's just 1 year old. Ask for LTF if you have used for high value transaction during this time or atleast fee waiver

I closed my FK cc 1 month back and axis retention team tried giving me 2500 edge rewards points if I dont close the card. You can try that too if you are unsure. That way you would get approx 500 rs points worth against renewal fee.

I personally closed the card coz i dont have any use of edge points or brand vouchers available on axis portal.

Closed it. They gave me the same offer but I wanted to own two more axis cards therefore went ahead.

Do we need to pay the annual fee if we are closing the card?
I talked to axis bank customer support a week back they told me you can contact us back when the annual fee is shown in the statement we will reverse it. But today they are saying they are not going to reverse the fee in the chat. And told me to close it i need to pay the entire due amount which includes annual fee.

I closed my Flipkart Axis Bank. Gave request on 25/11 and got an SMS today (29/11) that it has been closed.

SMS (25/11): "Your Axis Bank Flipkart Credit Card XX0123 has been cancelled as per your request. For queries, call 18004190064 - Axis Bank"

But on 25th after giving them closure request I got:

SMS (25/11): "Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting Axis Bank. Your service request number is 231125212345"

Email (25/11): "We would like to inform you that your query reference no. SN231125112345 has been registered."

Email (25/11): "Your Service Request no. 231125212345 for Non Easy Card is successfully registered. We will get back to you by 29/11/2023 6:00:28 PM."

Email (28/11): "Your request no. 231125212345 regarding Non Easy Card is completed. We look forward to your relationship with Axis Bank."

I am just curious what is this Non Easy Card? Can anyone help me understand? Could not find anything searching here or Google.
