Cochin (Kochi) Int'l Airport T3 Lounge Access

Hello,

It looks like no major credit cards are now being accepted at Kochi T3 (International departures) Earth Lounge anymore. Can anyone confirm if they were able to gain access using any card recently? I have used Axis Atlas and DCP previously but it looks like no Axis or HDFC cards are being accepted now.

Thanks!

HDFC gives priority pass for international airports which works at earth lounge according to their app

Edit: checked for infinia. It lists earth lounge in its list as well. What hdfc card did you use?

Thank you! I used DCP. It was accepted but showed paid access only. I had met the spend threshold and all.

A friend used his Regalia Gold but it was declined. The executive said they get so many Regalia Golds that they are thinking of putting up a notice specifically saying that it is not accepted. He didn't have his Priority Pass with him. But isn't PP usable for International lounges (outside of India) only? Int'l terminals within India are classed as Domestic only, right?

Axis Atlas same, declined on swipe. Apparently it is accepted only at Adani airports now.

DCP has spend criteria?

Not sure of intl terminal lounge but last week I tried at domestic lounge and Atlas was not accepted.
Not just for me, the person in front of me also tried atlas (and magnus) both were showing some Rs 2500 charges.

There were 5 people in our group, so we used Amex plat travel, and marriott bonvoy both were accepted.
One person used regalia gold, that was also accepted.
I also had 2 HOI vocuchers (from tata neu infinity), that was also accepted.

Recently someone had posted on X that you can generate HOI voucher from Atlas and use that at COK T3, that will be accepted.

(I meant Accepted = Allowed with 2 rs charge, other case was showing full charge 2500 something)

Yes Reglalia Gold is accepted at the domestic Earth Lounge (T1) but not the international Earth lounge (T3).

Interesting about the Atlas HOI thing. Need to do a bit of research on this.

You're right. Looks like they have been suggesting us to use the credit card directly for international lounges inside india. PP is still usable, just not recommended I guess. I haven't been charged yet atleast 😅

Really disappointed about atlas. It was always positioned as a one stop travel card

There was a thread and I remember they said that PP lounge swipe gets charged after 3 months. Keep an eye on your statements anyway.

@Giyu-san Got the answer, because I travelled today.
In T3 there are two Earth lounges - one for normal class (executive) and one for business and first class (premium)
All cards are accepted at executive - including Regalia Gold and Atlas. (spoke to the staff and checked this specifically)
Only high-end super-premium cards are accepted at premium lounge.
See photo below. Both are called earth lounge only but they have 2 separate entrances (left one is business class, right one is cattle class)
Problem solved.

Are you sure about this? I haven't found anything here https://www.hdfc.bank.in/credit-cards/diners-privilege-credit-card

Travelling next qtr so asking
I just researched whole website for the past 30 mins trying to find out 15k spend criteria on hdfc website but couldnt find it, so i asked gemini to find me the exact location where i can see the exact details mentioned and it helped me find it. You can also find the same by visiting the below link

Hdfc has smartly not mentioned anything about this on their main website so that people don't get to know about this easily. But all thanks to the OP and Gemini, i was able to find it.

Hope this helps for u.

I’ve been maintaining more than ₹3 lakhs in my new HDFC savings account, thinking I’d get this card as a pre-approved offer. I was hoping to get 2 complimentary international lounge accesses with it, but after seeing the ₹15K spend requirement for the complimentary access, I just realized I’ve been parking my funds in the savings account for nothing — all for a useless card.

I think this is old page as mentioned in link diners-club-privilege-backup-25july23.html
I asked on twitter they said no spend criteria. I also tried adding it on https://www.loungeone.ai/ and it shows 2 complimentary access.

It has charges as per the devaluation notice. https://technofino.in/community/attachments/download-8-pdf.19861/ Page 2 row 4.

Thank you! Yeah I too got confused between the two lounges. I don't have any super premium cards for the business lounge access so cattle class it is 🙂

When I had travelled last year they didn't accept DCP but Atlas was accepted. So I have another travel coming up shortly so I asked around. I was planning to use Atlas but a couple of people in TF reported that Atlas is not being accepted in Earth Lounge T3. So was planning to change my DCP to Regalia Gold for lounge access but then from my friends group I came to know that Regalia Gold is also not accepted. The list of lounges mentions only T1.

However thanks to @cardio_guy I have confirmed that we can indeed get access through HOI using Axis Atlas. But I think I should anyway move from DCP to Regalia Gold since it has no criteria for lounge access and at this point I think for international lounge access Priority Pass is more reliable than a low level Diners card with spend criteria.
