Devaluation Convenience fee on Insurance Premium

*This is to inform you that effective 10/09/2024 a convenience fee will be charged by the payment gateway to all the customers who make their premium payments through any credit card on our HDFC Life website portals - Quick Pay, My Account etc.*

*Please note, this will also be applicable on every transaction in the future, even if you have registered for auto debit on credit card.*

*Important:*
1. In case of any Refund arising due to reversal or charge-back etc., only the premium amount will be reversed and not the convenience fee levied by the payment gateway.
2. Convenience fee will be sum of card processing fee charged by the payment gateway and GST.

There are no payment gateway charges till now , i think HDFC is the first to implement , and others would follow. , i pay my insurances from website , till now i have not been charged any convenience fee and amazon is not accepting credit cards for paying LIC .

Tata AIA also applied convenience fees from 20 September 2024
