Converting ICICI Sapphirro Creditcard from master card variant to Visa Varient. Cancelling Amex and Master cards and Getting Visa Card. is it a good move.? and Benificial.?

Earlier the dual variant was useful because using your Amex ICICI was giving 1.5X rewards than your Master card. Now its all equal and doesn't matter. Moreover, the Amex card is an add-on card. So at least for the sake of simplicity I would have only one card and don't have to remember multiple CVV/PIN.

Well if you already have another VISA card then you can consider keeping Amex version of Sapphiro for Amex offers. For eg, there are monthly offers on Swiggy / Zomato on Amex cards from other banks.

I will NOT suggest this move.

1. You get monthly offers from Swiggy and Zomato on Amex.
2. You have more ICICI cards - effective when you need more discount from Amazon during sales as amount of discount is limited per card.

I'm getting FYF Dual variant of SAPPHIRO. What are my chances to convert it to LTF after one year ? Should I take FYF and negotiate it later ? Does ICICI approve request easily for LTF conversion?

Is there any benefit of getting visa variant on top of an existing Dual variant(MC+Amex) Sapphiro ?

Also my RM tells me visa can't be issued along side dual variant and has to be applied separately after 3 months

I've never heard anyone converting cards LTF with ICICI, that's more common with HDFC

But it's quite easy to get Sapphiro LTF these days, what with all the devaluation going on, talk to your RM

After the devaluation Sapphiro has become a pretty useless card. Don't take unless you get it LTF.

I permanently blocked my mc bymistake and now I have only amex.
