As most of us are aware, each company/corporate has a Corporate Salary relationship with a set of banks. Which is that one bank which has the highest number of Corporate Salary Tie-ups i.e., almost with all top and mid MNCs ? When I did some Google searches, I found ICICI bank and IDFC First banks have Corporate Salary relation with most companies, followed by SBI, then HDFC bank, then Axis bank and rest all follows in order. I am not willing to open a new Salary account in each new company I join just because my previous bank is not empanelled with them. So, that suggests me that ICICI Salary account is one such, which has tie-ups with most companies, in fact higher than HDFC bank. But many posts and threads suggests their Credit card offers don't match with HDFC and Axis banks. I hold a Liberty savings A/C with Axis bank and my monthly salary gets credited to this, because my company doesn't have any restriction on which bank to be used for salary credits. This A/C gives me 750 rupees voucher every quarter for the spends, HDFC Bank salary account is worst in this area. Also, my parents have their Axis bank accounts linked to me as Family / Group ID and any one of us can maintain the balance, which fulfils the MAB requirement. So, I want to know whether it would be good to switch from this account to ICICI Bank salary account or any other suggestions ? By the way, if a bank doesn't have a Corporate salary relation with the company, the salary credit is not recognized and just considered as a normal NEFT. But thanks to Axis bank's analytics and algorithms, they alert me (in mobile app) that my salary for the month is credited. They catch the salary credit based on the transaction narration in the bank statement. I haven't seen this with other banks like SBI, ICICI, HDFC, IndusInd etc.
