Got Early access to Scan and Pay on CRED. It gives assured rewards as cash back points/cred coins for all transactions. Made 3 Transaction of ₹1 for testing, received ₹20, 650 coins, ₹4 respectively as rewards.

cred upi is dangerous

it once debited amount from my account before even i enter upi pin

bank confirmed that pin was received

they saved my upi pin

I don't think so. I have been using the upi payment option in cred and didn't felt any issues till now.

I think when you tried, it might have deducted amount form your cashback points instead of UPI, so no UPI pin is prompted.

before cashback wallet introduced

i have written proofs from both cred and hdfc admitting cred mistake

how can cred save your upi pin, isn't pin entered on UPI page, which cred won't have any control? What did your bank & cred say happened when you wrote to them?

Need rbi to force banks to offer a dashboard of all upi apps connected to account and allow limits to be placed per each app.

Better cashbacks compared to existing players, trying to acquire more customer data than reading SMS data

I use Amazon Pay UPI just because of scratchcards
Might use Cred UPI for a month and feel good about earning 30-50 rupis for free

I got it too. Made the first payment of 60 bucks and got 18 bucks back. Might use it for a while till they continue giving good cashbacks 😂

Hey do any of you guys know how alias upi id's work on cred? Can i change it and how does it look on the receiver's end?

Once set, we can't change it. It looks same like we set on the receiver's end. For ex I set xyz@axisb then it'll show like this only.

But we can't send collect request to cred upi ID. I've tried primary and alias both, it was unable to find both ids when sending request to collect money.
