This is an ages old offer and applicable for the first 12 Transactions on smart pay.

I used it in 2020.

HDFC BILLPAY is shit. I paid my ICICI card bill on this. They payment was debited from my account. When I received next statement, it had penalty of rs.5893 + gst. I checked with them, The payment was showing pending even after more than 40 days. On contacting them, they said that the same had failed and they offered me a compensation of Rs.200😂😂. And they never informed me that this payment failed.

My Question is a few months back they updated their debit card terms that no reward points will be offered for card bill payments and now they are promoting this? How come this makes sense?

The only sense could be that this may be targeted offer, means exception for selected users.. my guess
