(Very) Long before, when I wanted a SC credit card, I read up on a board that someone was charged annual fees even after closing the credit card a couple of years back. This prevented me from applying for a SC credit card. The poster had mentioned that (at that time) the bank didn't give him any NoC, because it didn't have any such policy.
Anyways, here in this community, I had seen a comment sometime back that the bank was not giving NOC for a closed credit card. I tried finding the comment but to no avail. So I am making a new post here. I saw a complaint success story on Consumer Helpline website related to the same and wanted to share the same. I think this may help someone who wants an NoC and the bank isn't ready to provide the same. It may turn out to be helpful for some.
