You cant get the idfc dc payment option through idfc bill pay. you can only pay using your bank account balance directly, and you will receive 250 reward points every month for the first bill payment. I already received the last month's and this month's payments.
So we need to pay using bank account balance directly and no need to use debit card?
And to be clear, this reward point is linked to payment through account and not debit card?
And they have some other rewards for debit card right, were you able to get that as well?

Yeah, if you have done the first transaction of your idfc debit card above Rs.1000/- you will get 4000 RP. and after that you will also get RP according to your Debit card variant. you can check here .
I did the following transactions.
It takes some time and the timing differs each and every time. at first, I didn't receive the RP for 14 days, then I raised a complaint for the same and got credited after a few days, and since then the points were getting credited every next day and since last week it's getting delayed.. but still, if you don't get RP for 7 working days, then raise a complaint with the team then they will resolve the issue. and get it done.
yeah also they never count the Gov holiday and Sat & Sun. so count the 7 working days accordingly.. then they will raise the request, if not they would never raise the request.

It took me 3 working days when I had paid cc via first pay
Is it always take 3 days to settle the payment ?. I also did HDFC credit card bill payment via IDFC bill pay section 1st time and it's not reflected yet at HDFC side.
