Credit Card payments failing with easyshop platinum debit card on HDFC bill pay portal

Hi

CC payments are failing with Easyshop Platinum DC on HDFC bill pay portal
Payments through account are going through. Anyone facing this problem.
All billers are under active status.

For me it worked on 6th Jan. Later I got nothing to pay hence not sure if there is any technical issue in HDFC BillPay system.

I think its a user specific thing.

The official reason I got for payments not going through with DC is Transaction not permitted to cardholder.

I havnt called them, received an automated mail.

Maybe try asking them the reason for failure. Probably your expiry date or cvv input is wrong.

Yeah I was doing this mistake once. Instead of typing debit card's Expiry, I was typing Credit card's Expiry. Check if you're doing same

I had faced similar issues repetitive times. Try to use the bill pay section later sply on working hours. Please try to pay your bill at least 7 days before to overcome this issue.

my debit card was auto saved by hdfc on hdfc bill pay portal. i just needed to enter expiry and never asked for cvv

Correct. Only expiry need to be entered.

Using it since 3 months and working fine for me. Settlement time is 2-3 days but it is fine for me.

are you paid thrugh HDFC Easyshop debit card?

I had faced the same problem. I have also HDFC easy shop platinum debit card and I have registered my BOB and ICICI credit card on the bill pay portal and both card status is active. when I paid the credit card bill from my HDFC debit card my transaction got declined and mail was received with an error show PBE10002-Transaction not permitted to the cardholder. Please help if anyone knows the solution. Thank you
