Credit card upgrade from Axis Select to Magnus

I just called the customer service and got my Axis Select upgraded to Magnus they have approved the request without any documentation or process

I also had a few queries regarding credit card upgrades

1) When can i request for credit limit increase ?
2) Will upgrading a credit card reduce my credit score ? Axis select is my oldest credit card

they upgraded the select to Magnus , its the same account
My select card remains active for 45 days
