Yes cred provides rewards just like normal upi payments.
I got option when I open scanner, just below the scanner showed to link rupay cc.

it wasn't showing.. so i paid 10rs on that credit card (added today only)

Got the option, and linked my Tata Neu HDFC Card. Wanted to link my PNB card as well, but now on opening the scanner, there is no option to link rupay card.

Scan a merchant qr then click on drop-down icon. Here you will get option to add bank account or rupay credit card.

I got that option and it added it after selecting bank for credit card

Used Cred with Axis IOCL Rupay CC. works like charm!
I have replaced GPay completly with Cred with this new feature.

Any rewards on UPI spends through CC? I have multiple phones so I am not seeing this option yet on Cred. And I am in the beta sa well. Even tap to Pay was rolled out to me later on so I guess it will eventually come. Definitely seems a phased roll out.

Yes. Guaranteed rewards on the first 3 transactions on UPI CC. I got 27 rupees total for first 3 transactions last week. Then stopped using CRED for UPI
