CRIF Report Blunder, Please help

TF Ace
Today I saw my CRIF Report from Cred. Was surprised to see that there was an overdue of Rs.342 on a Rs500 personal loan. I have absolutely no idea about it. I did have a flipkart pay later which was closed and that account shows closed in all reports. But this other personal loan is not available in any of my other report except CRIF.
I went to the crif site to download full report. There I could see Loan of 500 was sanctioned in Sep 2022, In name details, there was another name matching my first name, there was another PAN Card too in my credit report apart from mine (with the same name - I checked on AU Credit Application page by putting the other PAN). There is a different phone number and email id (with same first name matching mine), and also a different address about 2km from my address.
I am not able to understand what to do here, How can someone else loan on a different PAN be shown on my credit report. Also, NO OTHER REPORTS SHOW THIS LOAN ACCOUNT. ONLY CRIF

Happened with me when i took a PL through Cred; All payments were on time but there was overdue.
Open their website and lodge a complaint, also put a complaint through rbi ombudsan. It took me more than 6 month to fix this. In these cases, the fintech company are useless and you will need to run after bank sadly.

I mean I don't understand whom to contact. That is someone else loan account whose first name is same as mine and lives in my city. his account is displayed in my crif report.
I talked to the person just now on the his number i got from my credit report. Even he is confused about everything.

In my wife's case CRIF has updated someone else's entire credit history including the third person's PAN and personal details. That person has taken loans from a lot of NBFCs and all are overdue. Sent dispute resolution mails to them but to no avail.

Raise a dispute with CRIF.

You get an option to disown the transaction in the portal in your credit report.

They will verify and it will be removed.

CRIF will give a time window of 30 days to IDFC to respond. If IDFC don't respond or verify the transaction with legit documents, then this entry will be removed from the Credit Report.

Same happened with me, it was a case of DHANI loans in my CIBIL report. The path should be similar in case of CRIF.

Good Luck,
