Croma worst in after sales and service support

Hi,
I have faced a pathetic after sales and service support from Croma . I never expected such a big brand has no backend team, no escalation team , no senior customer support member team.

Here is my full issue,
I bought a 43 inch Samsung 4k TV from Croma store in Dec 2022. Samsung gives 1 year full warranty on TV. I also bought Croma Zipcare 2 year extended warranty as as well this makes my TV covered for 3 years.
Now some person in Croma did a manual error in system and put my TV warranty as 3 years from Samsung and extended warranty start date as DEC 2025 instead of DEC 2023.

Now my TV got a fault and its screen went black . I called Croma and booked a service request. They checked in there system and sent Samsung guy to fix my TV. Samsung guy told me that in his system my TV has only 1 year warranty which has expired in DEC 2023.
So I called Croma and told this and the customer service created a service request under extended warranty for Croma Zipcare.
After 1 day this SR(service request) is marked auto closed and a new SR is raised again for samsung.
Then I called customer support again and told my issue again and he again created a SR for Croma Zip care to repair my TV.
Next day same thing happened again and Zip care SR was marked auto closed stating my Tv is under manufacture warranty.

Now from last 20 days same thing is happening . I have called customer care many times .they say our backend team is looking into it. They will reach out to you in 48 hours.
But nobody calls. They just repeat same message.
I also visited Croma store from where I bought the TV and explained this issue that change my extended warranty start date to DEC 2023 instead of DEC 2025.

They say we have mailed the backend team and they will fix this .
But till now as 20 days have passed . No one from backend team contacted me for this issue or have fixed this issue.

The customer support says they cannot connect to backend team and no email is there to reach out backend team.

The Croma customer support or a ghost backend team cannot fix a manual data entry issue which they only did in first place. Change the extended warranty start date to DEC 2023.
No one from backend team has contacted me via email or call till now (more than 20 days passed)

So for just a small issue CROMA has not provided any after sales service support. I donot know if some big issue had come this what will the customer support team can do. One will just be waiting to backend team came ( which usually donot come).

Croma has only one is customer.care@croma.com no escalation mail-id or senior customer support team members.

So lesson learnt is never buy from Croma again. As they will not fix in case the appliance gets faulty.

If anyone knows Croma escalation mail id or any contact pls let me know.

You can always complain to NCH. they will escalate this to Croma Higher officials.

Does it really work? Had some minor issue with FK complained them 3 times later on escalated to NCH they closed complaint saying 7 days policy over.

Raised a complaint against Eureka Forbes on 24th October 2024 no communication/update since then & the Eureka issue I'm getting from Dec'23 complained on Twitter as well no luck there as well. I think it might barely add any support. Although you can always give it a try it worked once for Swiggy after that Swiggy outright rejected the case saying no proof attached although I did share photos and videos.

If the complaint is genuine, it will definitely work. The more complaints against a particular business the more negative it is for them.

Moreover twitter also almost always works faster. Tag big players such as ceo etc, attach proof, tag accounts like bandbajaateraho and see the magic unfold.

It takes time but it works.

Allready doing that from 4th Nov but only genric response from Croma i.e we will get back to you please wait but no one calls or Dm for details

Yes I also did that on 5 Nov , there also Croma responded we are checking this issue and need some time to response. After that also no calls or email from them. Atleast if someone from there side might have called I would have known thta they are working on it but no response yet from them. I also called the consumer forum helpline they mentioned it takes max 45 days to resolve the complaint.
 
Their zip care extended warranty is shit. I bought washing machine from croma last year. Couple of months back dryer stopped working, I raised issue with croma and they took service request. After following them for a week & calling them, someone visited and said motor need to be changed & it will take another week to arrange it.

Even after 7 days, nothing happened. Croma team had only 1 reply that backend team is working on it. And there was no timeline.

After waiting for one week more, I got it fixed on my own because I was tired of waiting.

After 20 days of all this, they comtacted me saying motor has arrived. I just asked them to keep it with themselves as i had already repaired it by spending money.

Never buying anything from croma ever again.
 
This extended warranty thing itself is a scam.

Most brands themselves do not offer extended warranty themselves instead sellers offer and when it comes to service there is hardly any good response.


Happened similar incident with a YouTuber at Vijay sales.

Ya this Croma Zip care is a total scam . But I had a slightly better experience from flipkart Jeeves extended warranty in that atleast they came and tried to fix My MI TV but after 1 week they said we cannot fix it and gave 60% of the product value as TV was in 3rd of the warranty. With that money and some extra from my side I bought this Samsung TV from Croma Store thinking that in offline is better

But now never buying from Croma again even if with different credit cards I get extra 2k-3k discount
