cyber scam flipkart

Don't set your numbers and emails for otps for any e-commerce accounts wherever possible. Use an authenticator app like authy or 1password etc. Until you unlock the authenticator app first otps cannot sneak out. For me even if my email gets compromised the hacker cannot get in if he does not have my physical security keys. Just a PSA

update: yesterday I logged in my gmail in google chrome in my laptop, one mf from ukraine got access to my ac somehow, he logged in to flipkart ac with the otp. but luckily I have a different email id for the finance things which is only logged in my phone so he couldn't get the otp for the txn.
So to conclude my gmail ac was compromised but how he got my cards details is still a question.

This type of incident happened with me once with Amazon and the fraudster used my Amazon pay balance (around 8k) in Oyo and Swiggy. (Bandi ghumane gaya hoga)😂.

Then I raised several complaint but no positive response from Amazon. I didn't have any control over my account. He enabled 2FA on his number so even Amazon guys weren't able to check the details.

Kept patience for 1 month. After that I started writing shit comments on their FB posts. Literally each and every post for almost 1 week. Then one fine day they decided to respond me with unblocking my account and reversed my Apay balance.
Some years ago Rs 10000 (10k) was deposited by unknown person into my Amazon Pay wallet and he used 5k for a transaction. But Amazon found some fraud activity and cancelled the transaction and returned that 5k to my wallet.

After one month I used full amount (10k) of that fraudster

Anyone knows how he had deposited money into my Amazon Pay wallet??

Yes, in olden days they provide no dues letter in physical copy. You need to cut the card in front of them. NOC was given for disputed closure and after collecting any penal charges.

Now in digital age, I just closed my RBL Zomato card normally and received only email like this screenshot for no dues.
i asked Axis bank for my cc and they said we not issued any NOC for credit card

Before closing a card, I think we have to turn off all the domestic and international transactions. This way may be foul play can be avoided.
